Whiteoaks six-a-side challenge delivers winning result for Ark

Ark Our Partner supporter Whiteoaks International PR scored another fundraising goal for the charity by organising a six-a-side football challenge.

The leading technology PR agency, based in Hook, hosted the event at Robert May’s School, in Odiham, on Friday, October 18, and it raised £503.

Teams from Virgin Media, EDMI, Taylor Wimpey, Emerald Colour, Doug Clark FC as well as members of staff from Whiteoaks took part in the fun.

Emerald Colour's team triumphed on the night, and the money raised takes Whiteoaks International PR's running total for Ark to £1,976.

Suzanne Griffiths, managing director at Whiteoaks International PR, said: “As well as a team from Whiteoaks International, we were delighted to have Virgin Media, EDMI, Taylor Wimpey, Emerald Colour, and Doug Clark FC involved in what was a fun, if somewhat wet, evening. We were delighted to have raised £503 for Ark, and this means the total we have generated from our organised events is now £1,976 this year.”

Gary Jones, Emerald Colour’s managing director, added: “Our team thoroughly enjoyed playing the 6-a-side tournament. We were thrilled to win overall – it was a fun evening for a great cause.”
