Virtual Bucket Collection

Donate, Fundraising

t’s a whole new world – and that’s why we are delighted to introduce our Virtual Collection Bucket.

Our collection buckets and tins have been a key part of our community fundraising campaign but, as we all know, times have changed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We’ve been thinking about how our amazing supporters can still make donations in a safe and hygienic way – and now we have a new and simple method for you to help and support Ark.

Instead of a physical collection tub, all you need to do is print off one of the posters below. Then simply display the poster on your counter top, till area or reception area, and start fundraising!.

How a virtual bucket works

When your customers hover their smartphone camera over the QR code on the poster, they will be taken directly to Ark Cancer Centre Charity’s JustGiving page where they can quickly and easily make a donation of their choice.

The benefits to all..

  • Safe and sound – There’s no physical collection tin or bucket.
  • Every pound counts – JustGiving no longer charges admin fees so every donation made in your virtual collection bucket goes straight to Ark Cancer Centre Charity, just like a real collection bucket.
  • Quick and easy – The QR Code on your poster makes it really quick and easy for your customers to donate.
  • Feelgood factor – Displaying a poster in your business clearly shows that you’re supporting a charity.

Tracking your own total…

You can also choose to keep track of the total collected in your own virtual collection tub at your business by setting up your own virtual collection tub JustGiving page and creating your QR Code for your poster, which will be unique to your business or fundraising activity. Just get in touch and we can take you through a few simple steps to set you up.

You can get in touch by emailing michele.urry@arkcancercharity.org.uk

Whichever option you choose, all the donations made via our virtual collection bucket will go towards helping Ark to help and support cancer patients and their loved ones.

If you have any questions about our virtual collection bucket, then please get in touch – and thank you for your support.
