Thank you Asda shoppers

CUSTOMERS at Asda in Brighton Hill, Basingstoke have been great supporters of Ark Cancer Centre Charity this year - and last Saturday they provided further backing for the charity's fundraising appeal.
Supporters of the charity put up a pop-up banner and collected donations during the day, and a total of £160.19 was kindly put in to the buckets.

Mark Jones, director of fundraising and communications, said: "Thank you to Asda's shoppers for their generous support. Earlier this year, customers supported Ark Cancer Centre Charity through the store's green token scheme, and now they have provided further support at our latest fundraising collection.

"I am also very grateful to our wonderful volunteers - Debbie, Mike, Pat, Natasha and Marc - who joined me in collecting donations and helping to raise awareness of the charity's £5million appeal and the cancer treatment project.

"All five of them have helped out at other events this year, and their time and support is very much appreciated."
