Festive Concert

Basingstoke Hospital Male Voice Choir (BHMVC) and members of BATS Next Gen delivered an early Christmas present for Ark Cancer Centre Charity by performing at a special festive concert at All Saints’ Church, in Southern Road, Basingstoke.

Seasonal singing from borough choirs and donations from generous shoppers delivered a festive boost to the Mayor’s Charity Appeal.

On Saturday, December 5, several choirs from across the borough brought some additional Christmas spirit to Festival Place.

Tadley Singers bring Festive Cheer

THE wonderful Tadley Singers and a very generous audience combined to bring some Christmas cheer to Ark Cancer Centre Charity's £5million fundraising appeal.

Pamber Heath Memorial Hall was packed for the fabulous festive musical treat that was laid on by Tadley Singers in aid of Ark Cancer Centre Charity last Saturday night. The concert was free to attend but donations were invited from the audience and a raffle was also run by Tina Hughes, from the Tadley branch of Barclays.

Children's Christmas Concert

UK soul singer Natasha Watts was the driving force behind the fundraising carol singing and dance concert held at Queen Mary’s Hall, Queen Mary’s College. Nearly 140 children from local schools and dance groups took part in the festive event which was attended by more than 200 people and raised almost £2,500 – a sum that was doubled by findmeagrant

Motown 2014

Thank you to everyone at the Old Bell and Crown in Hatherden who enjoyed a night of Motown music and raised £1,200 for the Charity in the process
