Cash boost from Mayor's Charity Appeal

Ark Cancer Centre Charity was one of three charities who received a welcome cash boost following the success of the 2015-16 Mayor’s Charity Appeal.

Representatives from Ark Cancer Centre Charity, Inspero and Basingstoke Multicultural Forum were each presented with cheques for £7,917.89 by Councillor Anne Court. The total amount raised during the year came to £23,753.67.

A Night of All That Jazz and Sensational Soul boosts Mayor’s Charity Appeal

The Clive Fortune Big Band and soul singer Natasha Watts and her band were the shining stars in a special one-off concert at The Anvil on Saturday, March 5 - delivering a great boost to this year’s Mayor's Charity Appeal.

The special one-off concert pulled in the pounds for Ark Cancer Centre Charity, Inspero and Basingstoke Multicultural Forum - the three charities that will benefit from the appeal being championed by Basingstoke and Deane Mayro Councillor Anne Court.

Tickets are now available for a special concert in aid of The Mayor’s Charity Appeal, starring the fabulous Clive Fortune Big Band and Basingstoke soul sensation Natasha Watts, who has recently supported Motown legend Gladys Knight on her British tour.

All profits will support The Mayor’s Charity Appeal in aid of three good causes in Basingstoke and Deane – Ark Cancer Centre Charity, Inspero and Basingstoke Multicultural Forum.
