MasterChef winner Jane's recipe for success

It was a recipe for success – and BBC MasterChef 2016 champion Jane Devonshire was at the heart of producing a winning result for Ark Cancer Centre Charity at two special Hampshire Food Festival events.

On July 6, 10 food lovers gathered at The Myers Touch in Kings Worthy, near Winchester, to enjoy a fabulous Fine Dining Experience as Jane created a marvellous menu that showcased Hampshire's finest ingredients.

Broughton Buffalo, watercress, wasabi, strawberries and black garlic were just a few of the tasty items on the menu during the evening.

Richard's marathon success for Ark

Delighted dad Richard Pilbeam is celebrating becoming a marathon man after a marvellous and memorable run saw him pile on the miles and pull in the pounds for Ark Cancer Centre Charity.

Months of training and hard work paid off for the 39-year-old father-of-two as he completed the Virgin London Marathon on Sunday in an impressive time of 4hours, 36 minutes and 56 seconds.

And as well as clocking up a great time on his marathon debut, the keen Basingstoke Town FC supporter is closing in on his goal of raising £1,000 the good cause.

Dental team prepare to scale the heights

A dental practice team are gearing up to really walk the walk on a big challenge that aims to pull in thousands of pounds for a local cancer charity.

Every year, the staff at Imogen Dental aim to make a difference to a deserving cause, and in 2017, they have set their sights on raising funds for, and awareness of, Ark Cancer Centre Charity.

Natasha Rolls, aged 23 from Andover, was determined to raise money towards the Ark Cancer Centre Charity when she organised a 24-hour runathon at her place of work, the Arqiva office in Winchester. Her target was to raise £500 to support her mum who is fighting breast cancer. Mum Janet Rolls raised £6,500 with friend Jenny Gow by holding a hugely successful Christmas raffle. The family are great supporters and fundraisers for the charity.
