#Free2DoGood - how you can help Ark

YOU can do good by fundraising for free – that’s the message of a new Ark Cancer Centre Charity campaign.

In these challenging times, Ark is grateful for the wonderful backing it is receiving from its supporters – and now we are hoping that current and new supporters will pitch in to support the charity by doing things that will cost nothing more than a little time and effort but will make a massive difference to the charity.

Family-run firm is new Ark Our Partner

 

A FAMILY-RUN firm of mortgage and insurance advisors has come on board as the latest member of Ark Cancer Centre Charity’s Our Partner family of corporate supporters.

Based in Winchester Street, Basingstoke, HLSA Financial Services Ltd has adopted Ark as its Charity of the Year for 2020-21.

Ark Day 2020 cancelled - but we will be back!

Ark Day 2020 has been cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic – but the organisers have pledged it will be back bigger and better next year.

HHFT Panto Players deliver boost for charities

The Hampshire Hospitals Panto Players have delivered a welcome boost for three good causes - oh yes they have!

'Sick Whittington' entertained and delighted audiences with two performances of the panto at The Haymarket Theatre in Basingstoke in January.

Charity bucket collections were held after both performances, and representatives from the cast and crew have now presented £1,500 cheques to Ark Cancer Centre Charity, St Michael's Hospice and Tourettes Action.

A Night of Swing & Strings concert - update

Unfortunately, A Night of Swing & Strings, starring Clive Fortune Big Band and Basingstoke Area Youth String Orchestra, has been postponed from the planned March 21 date.

Today, the organisers of the event said: “The health and safety of everyone is of paramount importance.

"Following the Government’s updated advice relating to the Coronavirus situation, we have decided to postpone the concert.

Valiant GP Roisin raises thousands for Ark on epic trek

The force of Mother Nature may have stopped valiant Hampshire GP Roisin Ward in her tracks – but she and her intrepid team succeeded in raising thousands of pounds for charity and made their mark in what is billed as the World’s toughest expedition race.

A Night of Swing and Strings for Ark

A night of Swing and Strings will entertain and delight music lovers, and raise vital funds for Ark Cancer Centre Charity's mission to help and support cancer patients and their families.

Clive Fortune Big Band and Basingstoke Area Youth String Orchestra (BAYSO) will be combining their talented musical forces to deliver ‘A Night of Swing & Strings’.

Ark Day is back for 2020!

It was a great community campaign that raised over £32,000 – and now Ark Day is to return with a fresh look for 2020.

Bison and Zizzi deliver New Year boost for Ark

It was a very n-ice start to 2020 for Bison fans and Ark Cancer Centre Charity as the Trane Basingstoke Bison and Zizzi Basingstoke teamed up to support the good cause. 

Bison supporters had the pleasure of being waited on by the Herd’s ice hockey stars as the Bison and Zizzi held the second of two charity evenings at Zizzi in London Street, Basingstoke.
