Christmas Party

THE festive season was rounded off in fantastic style for Ark Cancer Centre Charity as Hayden Gowan and his wonderful team at The Tea Bar in Basingstoke threw a special Christmas party in support of the good cause.

Basingstoke soul sensation Natasha Watts and internet star Daryl Kellie entertained the audience with their own sets and got people singing and dancing.

Seasonal singing

Seasonal singing from borough choirs and donations from generous shoppers delivered a festive boost to the Mayor’s Charity Appeal.

On Saturday, December 5, several choirs from across the borough brought some additional Christmas spirit to Festival Place.

Woolton Hill Christmas Shopping Event

Despite the dreadful weather, the ladies of Woolton Hill turned out in force to support a local Christmas shopping day. Over 100 started their Christmas shopping early on the 8th November with lots of local crafts on sale. Thank you to Lynn Furness, Pam Garland, Sarah Bowen and everyone involved in making such a good event happen.
