The Costello School supports Ark Cancer Centre Charity

Ark Cancer Centre Charity has received a first-class pledge of support from a Basingstoke headteacher and his school.

Leigh Adams, who leads The Costello School, in Crossborough Hill, has made Ark Cancer Centre Charity his Headteacher’s Charity of the Year and he is encouraging pupils, staff, parents and governors to support the good cause.

As part of the partnership between the school and charity, Mark Jones, director of fundraising and communications for Ark Cancer Centre Charity, was recently the guest speaker at the school’s Annual Presentation Evening.

Children's Christmas Concert

UK soul singer Natasha Watts was the driving force behind the fundraising carol singing and dance concert held at Queen Mary’s Hall, Queen Mary’s College. Nearly 140 children from local schools and dance groups took part in the festive event which was attended by more than 200 people and raised almost £2,500 – a sum that was doubled by findmeagrant

Cheam School Disco

Thank you to the year six pupils at Cheam School who organised a disco in support of the Charity. Over £1,300 was raised by them - amazing!
