Basingstoke RFC support for Ark

Ark Cancer Centre Charity is proud to be the 2018-19 Charity of the Year of Basingstoke RFC President Dr Steve Tristram.

Basingstoke RFC members and supporters have certainly played their part in keeping Ark's £5million appeal total ticking upwards in recent years, and this year has already seen a successful charity quiz take place. The event in March was supported by people from many Basingstoke RFC local business sponsors, and it raised more than £1,250.

Super supporters help out at rugby club event

Ark Cancer Centre Charity was delighted to have a stall at Basingstoke RFC's Community Open Day on Sunday - and we'd like to say a big thank-you to fab supporters Debbie Loveridge and Sharon Allen.

Rugby Club quiz produces great result for Ark

The first Basingstoke Rugby Club Charity Quiz produced a winning result for Ark Cancer Centre Charity as more than £1,250 was raised for the good cause.

Teams from sponsors of the rugby club, many of which are also Ark supporters, took part in the inaugural quiz at the club’s Down Grange headquarters. Ark is the charity of the year of Basingstoke RFC President Dr Steve Tristram.

In a close-fought contest, the PDCM team, led by Basingstoke RFC vice-chairman Dave Cook, pipped a team from Lamb Brooks Solicitors to first place after a tie-break.

It's a super Saturday for Ark

It was a super Saturday for Ark Cancer Centre Charity as thousands of pounds were added to the £5million fundraising campaign.

A busy day for the charity saw funds being raised at a Basingstoke RFC sponsors lunch, the annual Hampshire Hospitals Pantomime Players show, and a special charity concert starring a Blondie tribute band.
