The Good Exchange does a power of good

The Good Exchange is doing Ark Cancer Centre Charity’s £5million fundraising campaign a power of good.

On World Cancer Day, we want to thank our many supporters who have donated through this match-funding portal - and we want to encourage anyone who wants to raise money for the charity to make The Good Exchange the first port of call when it comes to setting up a fundraising page, or making an individual or corporate donation.

1.3million reasons to say thank you

Today is World Cancer Day – so this is an ideal day to say 1.3 million thanks to our wonderful Ark Cancer Centre Charity supporters.

Why 1.3 million? Well, because of you, the charity's fabulous supporters, £1.3m has now been raised towards the £5m target that Ark Cancer Centre Charity is striving to hit to help fund the unique local cancer treatment centre that will make such a difference to so many people in the Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust area.

Rotary deliver £14K boost to Ark

They are great long-standing supporters of Ark Cancer Centre Charity – and now Basingstoke Deane Rotarians have delivered another fantastic five-figure boost to the charity’s £5million fundraising appeal.

On Sunday, January 29, the charity was one of the beneficiaries of this year’s annual Basingstoke Deane Rotary Club Charity Concert starring The Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines, Commando Training Centre Royal Marines – and Rotary Club President Alan Gibson had a special presentation for Ark Cancer Centre Charity trustee Merv Rees.

It's three in a row from Clarke & Son

SHE wanted to make a difference by raising awareness and funds for Ark Cancer Centre Charity - and Liza Nightingale's bald ambition has produced a winning result on both fronts.

Two years ago, Liza, who works at the Candover Clinic at Basingstoke hospital, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully, it was found early, she was treated, and she's fit and well.

Rotary Club proud to support Sitting With Jane

The Rotary Club of Basingstoke Deane is proud to have signed up as one of the sponsors of a unique public art project that will celebrate a milestone Jane Austen anniversary and make a big difference to a Ark Cancer Centre Charity.

Sitting With Jane will be among the most high-profile events in Hampshire as the county marks the 200th anniversary of the death of the world-famous author, who spent the first 25 years of her life in Steventon near Basingstoke.

Cyclists gear up for Ark to Arc

Cyclists who want to take part in a fun challenge and make a difference to two local cancer charities are being urged to sign up for a fundraising ride to the heart of Paris.

Ark to Arc will take place between July 12 and July 16, 2017 and will see 40 riders support Ark Cancer Centre Charity, and Kingsclere-based Bike 4 Cancer.

The cyclists will set off from The Ark Conference Centre, where Ark Cancer Centre Charity is based, on July 12 and they will ride 255 miles to the Arc de Triomphe. On route, the riders will call in at Alencon, one of Basingstoke’s twin towns.

RSM support really adds up

The team at RSM in Basingstoke have delivered a boost to a charity which is helping to fund a unique local cancer treatment centre in the Basingstoke area.

For the last two years, the RSM employees have taken part in various fundraising events to raise funds for Ark Cancer Centre Charity’s £5million appeal.

In 2015, Mike Blain, office managing partner, and colleagues Tim Smith and Jo Gibbons were among the Ark100 team that raised funds for the charity by taking part in the 2015 Destination Basingstoke Phillips Half-Marathon.
