Jon is shedding pounds to raise pounds for Ark

HE ADMITS that he's put on a bit of weight over the last few years - and now managing director Jon Mills is determined to shed the pounds to bring in the pounds for Ark.

Jon said: "I am 34 and founder and managing director of Black and White Chartered Certified Accountants, based at Herriard. When I'm not working hard to support our great clients, I am the proud dad to four wonderful boys.

"The problem is, with work and parenthood, I have little time for himself and the weight has crept on. I have called it my sympathy pregnancy weight. The problem is it's been there for six years now and it's only getting worse.

"It's time for a change. So starting July 1, I am aiming to lose 4st in just three months.

"My strong motivation for this is not just my kids, but I want to raise as much money as possible for the amazing Ark Cancer Centre Charity.

"You can find more information on our JustGiving page and thanks to everyone who support me."

Mark Jones, director of fundraising and communications for Ark Cancer Centre Charity, said: "Thanks to Jon for fundraising for Ark by fighting the flab, and thanks to everyone who sponsors him. Every pound shed by, and raised by, Jon will help Ark to help and support cancer patients and their loved ones."
