HHFT Panto Players deliver boost for charities

The Hampshire Hospitals Panto Players have delivered a welcome boost for three good causes - oh yes they have!

'Sick Whittington' entertained and delighted audiences with two performances of the panto at The Haymarket Theatre in Basingstoke in January.

Charity bucket collections were held after both performances, and representatives from the cast and crew have now presented £1,500 cheques to Ark Cancer Centre Charity, St Michael's Hospice and Tourettes Action.

Julie Jones, who is the producer and director of the popular pantomime, said: "We are delighted to have raised such a good amount for the three very good causes that we have supported through the 2020 pantiomime."

Mark Jones, thanked the wonderful Hampshire Hospitals Panto Players, and their kind and generous audiences at both performances.

"All charities are facing a really challenging time in the current climate, so support like this is very much appreciated."
