Fabulous flautist performs for Ark

Fabulous flautist Hannah Lindsey-Clark will be delighting an audience in Odiham at the weekend as she puts on a charity concert in support of a local cancer centre campaign.

Hannah, who has performed all over the world, and has had her music broadcast on Classic FM, Radio 3 and appeared on national television, will be performing Muller’s Flute Concerto in E Minor with the Deane Sinfonia.

All Saints Church, in Odiham, is the venue for the Saturday, July 6 concert, which will start at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 on the door and will include a beverage.

Hannah said: “The main piece of work at the concert is not often performed in the UK so this is an excellent chance to hear something new.

“Other programme items will include the Hebrides Overture by Mendelssohn, and Schubert’s Symphony Number 6.

“I am looking forward to performing in this wonderful venue, and to supporting Ark Cancer Centre Charity’s fundraising campaign.”

Merv Rees, Ark Cancer Centre Charity trustee and renowned liver cancer surgeon who has been a driving force behind the cancer treatment centre campaign, said: “Thank you to Hannah for this great show of support, and I hope that plenty of Ark supporters will be among the audience who enjoy an evening of marvellous music.”
