Christmas Party

THE festive season was rounded off in fantastic style for Ark Cancer Centre Charity as Hayden Gowan and his wonderful team at The Tea Bar in Basingstoke threw a special Christmas party in support of the good cause.

Basingstoke soul sensation Natasha Watts and internet star Daryl Kellie entertained the audience with their own sets and got people singing and dancing.

Like Hayden, Natasha - who supported Motown and soul legend Gladys Knight on her UK tour earlier this year - is a great supporter of Ark Cancer Centre Charity.Natasha, who will be embarking on her own UK tour in April and will be releasing her latest album, was delighted to be involved in this special festive evening which comes towards the end of a great year for her and the charity.

Mark Jones, director of fundraising and communications for Ark Cancer Centre Charity, thanked everyone for coming along and supporting the charity.

He said: "The charity's motto is 'for the people, by the people' because local people through their fundraising efforts will help the cancer treatment centre to become reality. "Thanks to Hayden and his team, particularly Lucy, for putting the event on, and to the fabulous Natasha and Daryl for performing. This is a great way for the charity to round off what has been a great year in terms of increased awareness and support from the local community."
