Choirs will deliver May boost for Ark

They are great supporters of Ark Cancer Centre Charity – and on Sunday, May 26, members of Basingstoke Hospital Male Voice Choir (BHMVC) will be holding their latest fundraising event for the good cause.

All Saints Church, in Southern Road, Basingstoke, will be the venue for a concert which will feature the wonderful singing of BHMVC and also the Mansfield Male Voice Choir, who are on an anniversary tour.

The concert, which is free to attend, will take place between 3pm and 5pm, and there will be a collection in support of Ark.

Mansfield Male Voice Choir are undertaking their tour to mark 75 years since the choir formed, and BHMVC are delighted to host them and be part of this special celebration.

Ark Cancer Centre Charity trustee Merv Rees, who is also president of BHMVC, said: “BHMVC are great supporters of Ark and have been involved in events that have raised thousands of pounds for the charity.

“This will be another wonderful concert, and I am grateful to both choirs for putting on this event. I am sure it will be well-supported, and thanks to everyone who contributes to the collection.”
