Charity Ball Strictly Fabulous

Local dance school, Freedom 2 Dance, hosted a fantastic charity ballroom 11th October 2014 in aid of the Ark Cancer Centre Charity, raising £1000.

The ball was held at Aldworth School in Basingstoke. There was a cabaret from British Professional Ballroom Champions – Warren and Kristi Boyce. The world famous Ross Mitchell, his band and singers provided live music throughout the evening.

Jonathan Morrison and Sergio Brilhante, principals of Freedom 2 Dance, said: “We would like to thank everyone for supporting our charity ball. Everybody had a wonderful time, and it was great to see some new faces. We are so pleased to be able to raise funds for such a worthwhile charity.”

Merv Rees, Chairman of Fundraising for Ark Cancer Centre Charity, said “I had a fabulous evening. The professional dancers were fantastic – I’ve never seen anything like it, the dancers have made me want to learn to dance! A huge thank you to everyone at the dance school for organising the event, and supporting our charity. We are very grateful for their donation.”
