Basingstoke Breast Cancer Self Help Group

Basingstoke Breast Cancer Self Help Group was established in 2003. They provide invaluable friendship and support to women who have had breast cancer.

Meeting as a group from 7pm to 9pm one Tuesday a month at the Ark Conference Centre, which is situated at the back of Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital. Monthly meetings include informal discussions, as well as listening to talks from guest speakers on relevant topics to members.

We are delighted to hear that we can once again resume their meetings indoors once a month. The  informal meetings are for anyone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Not all women will feel comfortable attending meetings initially. Just knowing that the group exists and that they are only a phone call away may be enough. Alternatively, they are happy to meet with you individually.

Members are invited to enjoy social outings throughout the year. However as the group does not receive any grants for activities, they organise fundraising events, such as concerts, quiz nights and cake sales. These are a great opportunity to have some fun and involve family, friends and colleagues.

If you would like to join the group or find out more about us, please contact them as below.
