Ark supporter Natasha to launch new album in home town

She's a great supporter of Ark Cancer Centre Charity – and now award-winning Basingstoke soul singer Natasha Watts is set to achieve another career milestone with the launch of her third album.

Super singer Natasha’s star continues to rise and next month sees the unveiling of her new album My Next Chapter – including a very special launch event at The Haymarket Theatre in Basingstoke on Saturday, September 8.

Natasha has been touring all over the world for the last two years off the back of her last album 2nd Time Around which went to number one in the UK soul chart and has been played on radio shows across the country and the world.

Natasha – who has appeared at various Ark-related events over the last few years, including Music in the Garden which raised £70,000 for the charity’s £5million appeal that will help fund the new NHS cancer treatment centre at Basingstoke hospital – is delighted with her third album, and she is looking forward to launching it in her home town.

She said: “To me, there has always been something a little bit special about The Haymarket. It was here when I was growing up, so to be able to launch my new album at the theatre will be something special and an incredible feeling.”

Hard-working Natasha has had a very busy 2018. Apart from working on her third album and appearing at gigs in Britain and abroad, last month saw her and former X Factor finalist Danyl Johnson launch their own evening radio show on BBC Radio Berkshire – adding another string to Natasha’s impressive bow.

Tickets are selling fast for the September 8 album launch concert, and Natasha is hoping that there will be a full house on the big night.

“Launching the new album in Basingstoke means a lot to me, and I am looking forward to sharing this very special evening with family, friends and fans of my music. I am grateful for the support I have received, and look forward to seeing everyone on September 8.”

Tickets for Natasha’s concert cost £28, and they include a free CD of the new album and a goodie bag. Tickets can be purchased through the Anvil Arts website at
